Revolutionizing Traffic Management and Security for Military Bases
TAMPA, FL – Ombra LLC announces it has been selected by AFWERX for a SBIR Phase I contract in the amount of $180,000 focused on an innovative, AI-driven system tailored to optimize access control and streamline traffic flow in the Department of the Air Force (DAF). Secure Management and Access of Real-time Traffic (SMART) will be a 6-month effort to develop cutting-edge traffic management solution tailored for military installations like Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA). Throughout the effort, Ombra will conduct a feasibility study for integrating vehicle detection and classification, license plate recognition, geolocation-based routing, and traffic pattern prediction into the SMART technology.
